I've created this thread so we can carry on discussing the wars of the roses sub-mod when the tw center is down,
or even if it's up and we need to sort out things without posting them over at tw center.

Checking in.

Update: My studio demands cranked back up. Sad

So far....

Map regions and settlement coordinates plotted and recorded along with RGB values.
regions tga. terrain tga. Features tga. height tga. All set for 190X190/381X381 pixels.

Also 250 period portraits, 15 Graham Turner load screens.

WotR load screen 50%

Custom UI elements 50%

BACKUP: After finishing features tga resolved to resize map to 260 to avoid pathfinding bugs while keeping historicity and strategy.


Current Reccomendations:

12TPY (=500+ turns)
160 base action points
Heavy Winter modifyers for movement
Generous Ancillary movement modifyers.
Increased chances of storms at sea for ships.
Some reduced build times.
increased recruiting and build costs.
Improved Diplomats.
Increase number of Diplomats.
Remove Field cost mods.

Most important IMO are for NEW diplomacy modifyers. Examples: Attacking neutral factions NOT a detriment to reputation. Killing prisoners VERY detrimental to reputation. Money & Land gifts extra positive effect on reputation. Sieges not affect reputation. Sackings and exterminations extra negative to reputation. And, if possible, a short memory. Also reset most faction-to-faction base modifyers to 0.

diplomacy - sounds generally a good set of ideas.

I shall have to find out how to implement them!!
